Cast from a brief

The flagship recipe: a campaign brief goes in, a ranked shortlist with a reason for every pick comes out, priced against the market.

Typical cost
About 15 credits for a typical run: one search (2), eight profile pulls (8), one market benchmark (5).

The scenario

You are a strategist at a brand or agency with a real brief: target audience, markets, platforms, a budget band, maybe a creative direction. What the client needs is not 500 rows of creators, it is 8 to 12 picks with a defensible rationale for each one and a rate expectation that will survive procurement.

This recipe turns that brief into exactly that artifact, and because every pick carries the signals behind the match, your agent can answer the follow-up questions too.

The prompt

Say this to any agent connected to the MCP at https://data-mcp.creatorland.com/mcp. Swap in your specifics and keep the shape.

The prompt

Here is our campaign brief: [paste the brief]. Find 10 creators on Instagram and TikTok that fit, US audience, 50k to 500k followers. For each pick, pull the full profile, explain why they fit, and note how fresh the data is. Then benchmark what a sponsored reel in this vertical should cost, and put it all in a shortlist table I can paste into a deck.

Then iterate

Tighten it: drop anyone whose audience is less than 60 percent US, and find two more creators like the top pick.

What the agent composes

The ordered tool-call sequence behind the answer. This is the part you can customize: reorder it, tighten the filters, or swap a step for your own data. Every tool is documented in the tools reference.

search_creators in brief mode

The agent passes your brief as free text plus structured filters: platform, niche, country, follower range, and a minimum engagement rate, with a result limit and a precision setting. Back comes a ranked candidate list where every row carries the signals behind the match: niche, audience geo, brand affinities, and how fresh the underlying data is.

get_creator_profile on the finalists

For the top picks, the agent pulls the full profile: interests, hashtags, audience geography, and the data-freshness signal. On Pro, each profile also carries brand affiliations and an avatar URL ready to render in a creator card.

query_market_intelligence for the rate band

One benchmark call scoped to your vertical and deal type returns the market rate band, with the provenance line and recency window behind every number, so the deck quotes a range that is defensible by construction.

The agent stitches the shortlist

Everything above gets composed into one table: the ranked picks, a per-pick rationale written from the match signals, the audience-geo fit, a freshness note, and the vertical rate band at the bottom. If you asked for lookalikes of a winner, the agent re-enters step one in lookalike mode with that creator as the seed.

What you get

A ranked shortlist of 8 to 12 creators, each with a rationale grounded in the match signals, audience-geo fit, and data freshness, plus a market rate band for the vertical. Paste-into-deck ready, and every number carries its provenance.

Gotchas and limits

Make the agent show its reasons. The rationale is only as good as the signals the agent surfaces. The tool returns them on every row; ask for them explicitly, as the prompt above does.

Watch the freshness signal. Every row says how recently the underlying data was verified. Ask the agent to flag stale rows rather than silently including them.

Result caps and precision. A single search returns up to 150 results, and the precision setting trades recall for tightness. For a client-ready cut, a tight search plus profile pulls beats one giant search.

Avatars are a paid-plan extra. Shortlist rows and profiles carry a renderable avatar URL on paid plans; on the free tier your shortlist is text-only.

Do it for you
